Nurse's Notes

" Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a listening ear,

an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have

the potential to turn a life around." - Leo Buscaglia

Nurses all around the world have the ability to touch lives, we are the ones who is there whenever our patients need something. We are often thought as the assistant of the MD's, but we are not. Our specialty of skills and knowledge is far different from theirs. It is in our humble profession that we do most of the interactions to the patients. It is there that we able to show our unconditional caring for them. Nurses are there not just to do BP monitoring, weighing the patient, counting the pulse etc... but we are ultimately placed there in order for us to modify if not change the way of living of our patients from bad habits to a healthy lifestyle...
